Pennsylvania woman killed in two vehicle crash

Mcalisterville, PA - According to Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown report, a two-vehicle accident on Monday, April 1, at around 3:33 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 333 and State Route 2032 in Delaware Township killed a Juniata County woman.

A significant percentage of traffic accidents each year involves trucks and trailers. The world of commercial trucking includes countless varieties of heavy duty trucks or rigs such as tractor-trailers engaged in interstate hauling, dump trucks working at construction sites, garbage and trash trucks removing a city's refuse, and delivery trucks transporting parcels to store customers. The fatality rates for cars are usually grouped by class of vehicle. A new report issued by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety breaks new ground by analyzing date for individual models within a class. The results showed a surprisingly wide discrepancy among a class of vehicles, with the least safe model in the class often having a fatality rate twice as high as the safest model.
